DescubreXR 2024:
A Day of Innovation in Extended Reality
Madrid in Game,
Casa de Campo-
Madrid, 11/24
On Saturday, November 23, we celebrated DescubreXR 2024, a full day dedicated to Extended Reality (XR), bringing together professionals, creators, and companies from across the immersive technologies sector.
As both a member of the organizing team and a participating artist, I had the pleasure of contributing to this multifaceted event. Alongside my curatorial and production duties, I presented a collective VR artwork titled ISOS, as part of the artistic exhibition "Creatividad Expandida", which explored the intersections of creativity, technology, and immersive media.
The program included keynote talks, roundtables, and hands-on workshops designed to deepen understanding and spark dialogue around XR. The demo area and the art exhibition offered attendees the chance to experience cutting-edge Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality projects first-hand.
The event also hosted the INMERSIVA XR 2024 Awards, and concluded with a powerful live performance—"Emotions in Transit"—by ARAN and Role Studio, providing a fitting close to a day that truly embodied the future of immersive creativity.
